National Park Kornati, one of the Croatia’s famous national park, is located one and half hour of boat driving from Camping Ugljan Resort. It’s a unique span of 150 islands, islets and cliffs scattered on the central part of the clear blue Adriatic Sea, that comes in the contrast with the white-grey stones of Kornati islands. The islands, numerous coves, bays and harbours, makes Kornati inevitable destination for sailors on their walks along the Adriatic coastline. One of the most striking natural phenomena of Kornati islands are cliffs looking out to the open sea. Cliffs have been called “crowns” since ancient times, so the name of Kornati is likely to came from its description. The highest Kornati cliffs are on Klobučar island (80 meters), island Mana (65 meters) and island Rašipa Vela (64 meters).
